ALASKA - Glacier Bay

The highlight of our cruise was undoubtedly Glacier Bay. We got up early and I rushed all the way along the ship and up to the 10th Floor to the Observation cafe to "book" a spot where we could best view the beauty of this Bay.  The weather wasn't really playing along and it was drizzling most of the day.. I spent hours taking photos in the drizzle and then inside just watching the beauty.    There were some moments when the sun peeped out and the colours were spectacular.  The ship moved slowly towards the glaciers and stopped many times for us to experience the stillness and utter beauty of this bay.

The photos will tell the story.. sorry, there are lots of them!

    1. It was difficult getting good photos as the light most of the time was disappointing. There was also a great deal of haze most of the time... glacial pace it certainly was!
