I can just imagine leisurely lunches under the big Tulip tree. What a difference to the view with the trees cut down. (I'm just admiring those bowls too!) Your friend has created a lovely home and the gold and blue in the sitting room is a perfect combination.miss bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00210603421768133667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-349579516707524940.post-41445127818184937192013-09-12T07:26:00.850-07:002013-09-12T07:26:00.850-07:00Thank you so much Marj for the lovely comments! x...Thank you so much Marj for the lovely comments! xxJenny Rose-Inneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03238831480483296166noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-349579516707524940.post-38018217699770931792013-09-12T04:17:26.250-07:002013-09-12T04:17:26.250-07:00What a beautiful place and house Jenny! I have a thing for balconies (with me looking up from afar) and windows (with me looking out), so for me, that shot captured the whole trip. Have a lovely day!

Marj xPEN PHOTO PASSPORThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08118799411388572203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-349579516707524940.post-26746834204059267932013-09-11T22:29:19.934-07:002013-09-11T22:29:19.934-07:00I think it's also because this village is comp...I think it's also because this village is completely authentic ... as it is in the middle of the rural Limosin region, very few tourists get here. No English is spoken here which has been challenging at times, but we have managed somehow! It looks like you've had a wonderful time... it sounds so relaxing, I'm very envious.

I'm sure Mustique is probably someone's pet - we have friends who used to have their cat outside at night (I know, you're not supposed to....) and it turned out he was going around the corner, up the front of a terrace house, and sleeping on one of the neighbour's beds. They thought he might be a stray, so he would have breakfast there, before disappearing back home for the day (where he would also be well fed). They only put two and two together when he was out on the footpath one day, and they both called to him!
